  I switched to the Walgreens Pharmacy due to the long lines and incompetence at the other Mebane area pharmacies. I only used the pharmacy once or twice per year and I always received prompt and knowledgeable service. Now after several years it would seem the employees from those other stores are working here. The lines have become consistently long and they do not communicate you of any issues. My Doctor sent in a prescription for a 90 day fill. I received an email showing a refill for only 30 days. When I called the pharmacy to inquire about it I was told they did not have enough in stock to fill the order but it would be ready the next day. I never received an update or follow up. When I went to pick up the prescription many days later I was told my insurance doesn't pay for 90 day refills. I don't use prescriptions if I can avoid it so I was not aware. If I had been given the correct reason they couldn't issue a 90 day fill then I would have known and checked with my insurance much earlier. I also could have avoided a wasted, 10 miles out of my way journey to Mebane. I plan to try another pharmacy closer to my place of employment.
