  Great shops, friendly people, always something to do! Reed's is my favorite coffee shop great coffee-date place, Martino's is the pace for American food, Pomodoros is great Italian, Karma is excellent for vegetarians/vegans, the downtown table perfect place for brunch or an amazing dinner and Dick & Jane's is an awesome spot for appetizers and cocktails! And night life is at Clay st tavern, cozy pub place that has fun bands, and whisky sowers if you're more in a party mood. So many shops for finding antique treasures, jewellery or quirky gifts. Quirks is the name of my favorite shop on Clay St. and they always have new and crazy stuff. You also have to see the amazing murals done by a local artist around Mebane. Recommend spot for friends or to explore by yourself any time.
